HOOFERS COUNCIL
Hoofers council is the umbrella organization and board of all Hoofers clubs and teams. Hoofers Council is tasked with “governance and coordination of the activities of Hoofers and its affiliated clubs, programmatic and education support of Hoofers, preparation of an operating budget for approval by Union Council and financial oversight of the entire organization, assessment of fees sufficient to support the activities of Hoofers, and other activities as deemed necessary.” As an umbrella organization, Hoofers Council is responsible for upholding and ammending the Hoofers Constitution, Bylaws and Policies. Hoofers Council also hosts several large programs that are open to all union members, students, faculty, and their guests such as the Winter Carnival and Hoofers Haunted Halloween.
Hoofer Council is comprised of the Hoofer Council Executives (President, VP-Admin, VP-Finance, VP-Programs, and Secretary), Hoofer Council Offices (Various Chairpersons), Club Representatives (All affiliated clubs have one representative to Council), and non-voting members.
