II. Approval of previous meeting minutes

III. Officer and Club reports / Announcements
Peter: Leaders needed for outing club
Mount.: Same problem
Integration needed to secure continuity
Jen: Kick-off coming up, trip-sales during kick-off
Ethan: Kick-off turned out very well, lots of new beginners, instructors needed & keep an eye on security issues
Dana: Gliding also increasing membership after kick-off
Paula: Fall kick-off went O.K. Lessons are dropping off now, six instructors left.

IV. Hoofer Advisors / Outing Director Announcements
* Robaideks Roost
- Outing & Ski club will have to present their constitution to the Council and get approval (also from UC)
- Student print moves in October so we'll have to work on the bul.-boards
- Wed. September 28, Hoofer Financial Training in Profile Room
- Discus reduction of biking-speed in Boating-area

Tori absent, no niche

V. Old Business
* Hoofer Council Retreat planning committee update (Matt K.)
Planning is running. Program will be out on bul.-boards/E-mail a.s.a.p. Sign up before Oct. 5. Make sure that people go there.
* membership forms (Wes)
Ski&Snowboard-club forms are top press. Use it as example. Budget needs to be explored to see who will pay for it.
* Hoofer Council Goals/Strategies (Wes)
G&S are sent out by E-mail and will be dealt with during the retreat. Any remarks on them can be made by E-mail to Nick at nvanstra@students.wisc.edu

VI. New Business
* Marketing plan for all of Hoofers... (Erik & Heather)
Heather Frankovis will be the new 'In Madison'-person for marketing. She's good in getting free publicity so use her skills and knowledge. She will also assist on the All Hoofer Spring Program.

New all Hoofer Sign/Ad is shown and approved after some changes.
* Scuba Club funding proposal (Jennifer Sargent)
Motion to get $200 from council to pay for expenses on interpreter to provide adequate Open Water Dive Course instruction for person with a hearing disability.
Seconded by Matt Kavan
After discussion of options and remarks on making a long term policy this motion was approved by a majority of the Council with the remark that this would not set a precedent for the future and that clubs should go budgeting for this themselves.
Motion was opposed by Ethan Cumbler and abstained by Brian Routhieaux, Paula Bersie and Jen Maier
Further is this a sign that there is a need for somebody (Council-position) to coordinate the All Hoofer accessibility
* The information Highway & Hoofers (Wes/Chris)
Currently Wes, Chris and Jim (Rogers) are working on computer/D-base integration in order to get one data-base for All Hoofers/Outdoor Rental-purposes. Main goal: Keep It Simple
If you have any info that ought to be on the Wisc-Info All Hoofer Info Display, please bring it a.s.a.p. to Chris. We need to update it!
* The Mini-retreat that wasn’t (Wes)
Mini Retreat is def. postponed till Spring, when most of the new officers will be in.
